JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an Operations Planner, you are responsible together with surgeons, orthopedic specialists, urologists, anesthesiologists, and the operations department for planning how the surgical program should be structured. You have a large and important role in ensuring that we have a surgical program to work with. The position includes rotation for round-the-clock operations. As an Operations Planner with us, you will, among other things • ensure that the patient is optimized before their operation • have contact with the patient before the operation • work closely with other operations planners in the county. You are stress-resistant and have the ability to work with many parallel tasks simultaneously. Your genuine interest in the patient's well-being is of utmost importance. You can work independently, in a structured manner, and see the full picture in the surgical workflow. The ability to provide patients with instructions before treatment is of utmost importance. We expect you to actively participate in operations development, take personal responsibility, and work with us and your colleagues toward our goals and contribute to a pleasant work environment. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. In the role as Operations Planner you should • be a licensed nurse • have the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. For this position, it is meriting if you have previous experience from surgical operations. It is also considered meriting if you have experience working with Cosmic, Provisio and/or reception work with patient booking, as well as previous experience with surgical planning work. You should have extensive computer skills as the computer will be your primary tool in your future work as an Operations Planner. Employment Type: Permanent position.
