All about your benefits Job Description As an Operations Planner, you are responsible for coordinating and planning operations for inpatient and day surgery patients so that they receive the best possible care and treatment. You work closely with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and the operating department as well as other units at the clinic, and you need to have good knowledge of the care chain workflow. Operations planning is divided into four main areas: Upper GI, Lower GI, Day Operations, and patients undergoing liver ablation. You provide daily telephone consultation regarding planned operations via Tele Q. We work primarily in the systems Take Care, Orbit, and 1177. Qualifications You are a licensed nurse with experience in surgical care. Experience in operations planning is a merit. Personal qualities As a person, you are structured, well-organized, and have a sense for logistics. We see that you have personal maturity, are thorough and engaged, and that you have a great ability to be flexible and handle rapid changes. We treat and care for patients mainly from Stockholm County, but also patients from other regions and countries with surgical or urological diseases. Patients are cared for at several different specialist clinics, two operating departments, and four care wards with different profile areas: colorectal surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, obesity surgery and liver tumors, and urology.
