We're looking for the leader who will build and develop our new region. About the Role As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for Hemfrid's operations in Region Norr. This is a strategic leadership role where you lead through other managers and are responsible for the region's development, growth, and profitability. You have people management responsibility for the region's Area Managers, who in turn lead our collectively employed staff and manage daily operations. Initially, you will lead two Area Managers, but the ambition is for Region Norr to continue growing as we establish ourselves in more locations. Although the role has a clear strategic focus, we're looking for an unpretentious leader who thrives close to operations. When needed, you're prepared to support day-to-day operations and cover for an Area Manager in case of, for example, absence. You see it as a natural part of leadership to be there when operations need you most. Since you're responsible for multiple offices within a growing region, a hands-on leadership style is essential. The role therefore involves regular travel between our offices in Region Norr to be close to operations, support your Area Managers, and create good conditions for both employees and business. In this role, you're responsible for: Leading, coaching, and developing the region's Area Managers. Owning the region's results, budget, and long-term profitability development. Driving the establishment and continued growth of Hemfrid's operations in Region Norr. Ensuring efficient operations with high quality, good customer experience, and engaged employees. Monitoring and developing operations through analysis of key metrics and business results. Driving change and improvement initiatives and implementing new ways of working. Working closely with other functions within Hemfrid to create the best possible conditions for the region's development. When needed, supporting day-to-day operations and covering for an Area Manager. Your Profile We're looking for someone with experience leading other managers and who enjoys building organizations, developing people, and creating results. You're comfortable taking comprehensive responsibility and are motivated by combining strategic work with close operational leadership. As a leader, you're clear, confident, and communicative. You create engagement by providing direction, building structure, and being close to operations. At the same time, you have a genuine interest in people and actively work to develop both your employees and the organization. You have a strong business understanding and are motivated by developing both people and operations. Following up on results, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving growth are natural parts of your leadership. We believe you have: Multiple years of experience leading other managers with full people management responsibility. Multiple years of experience with full P&L responsibility. Good experience working goal-oriented and monitoring operations through relevant key metrics. Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written. A B-class driving license. Experience from a similar industry or other labor-intensive operations is strongly meriting. Experience with services to private customers is meriting. Practical Information This is a full-time position starting by agreement. The role involves responsibility for our operations in Region Norr, with our first establishments in Umeå and Sundsvall. Travel between offices is a natural part of the position, and we'd prefer you to be based in, or between, one of our two expansion locations.
