Tegs care and residential facility is beautifully situated by the Umeälven river with proximity to lovely green areas. The residence consists of 101 apartments distributed across 10 units. We have a café, a common area for activities and entertainment, and a light room. We also have a unit with a Sámi profile, which means Sámi elements in both outdoor and indoor environments, including a special fireplace, Sámi art, and celebration of Sámi holidays.

Your responsibilities
You support residents in their daily lives by assisting with personal care, meals, cleaning, and various activities. Under delegation from the responsible nurse, you may also perform medical tasks. Documentation of completed care measures and residents' health status is an important part of the work.
As a contact person, you work with residents' needs and participation at the center. You ensure that services are delivered with high quality according to assistance decisions and implementation plans.
Work hours are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts with weekend duty.

In your interactions with residents, you must be empathetic, driven, solution-focused, and possess personal maturity. You demonstrate strong commitment to both service users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and have a strong ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. Requirements
Experience working in elderly care
In order to communicate with service users, family members, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

Education in care and health services
Heavy lifting is involved; lifting aids must be used. Animals and smoking are present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies.
