We work according to a relationship-based continuity model, which means that a team of midwives follows the pregnant woman through pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care. Read more about the Women's Health and Health Professions Theme here. Our service meets pregnant women with both normal and complex care needs in an environment with cultural diversity. With us, there is, among other things, specialized HIV services for pregnant women and a perinatal psychiatry unit. We also conduct a nationally highly specialized care assignment in fetal medicine. Min Barnmorska was the first in Sweden with caseload midwifery and also performs planned home births for normal pregnancy and expected normal delivery. Read more about Min Barnmorska and our operations here. As a Nursing Director with us, you lead and distribute work among the clinic's approximately 17 midwives. Your main responsibility and work areas include: in close collaboration with four Nursing Director colleagues at BB Huddinge and the physicians' section manager, contributing to an integrated care chain and well-functioning multiprofessional teamwork leading and developing daily operations, with a focus on patient-safe and high-quality care for delivering women and their families ensuring appropriate competence and staffing, and promoting a good and sustainable work environment creating conditions for research, development, and education in the service driving and enabling improvement work based on monitoring of quality, patient safety, and production. You report to the Operations Manager for the Nursing Care Area and participate in the section leadership where you collectively drive the operations forward. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed midwife with authorization to practice within Swedish health care Work experience at a midwife clinic Meritorious: Documented management experience.
