We work based on the individual's needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS), and the Healthcare Act. This can mean giving elderly people a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating security, continuity, and good care for people who need support, whether at home, in a group home, or within social psychiatry. As a support assistant and care assistant, you provide support in daily living to people in need of care and assistance. This can include help with personal care, meals, mobility, and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual care plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation. As a support assistant and care assistant, you work to provide educational, social, and practical support to people with disabilities in their everyday lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society. The role includes, among other things: - Supporting the individual in daily life according to the care plan - Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction - Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other actors - Documenting efforts in digital systems according to applicable procedures - Working based on a low-key approach and with the individual's needs in focus You will primarily work at one or more of the department's service homes (LSS). The work is scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the activity's needs. On-call nights also occur. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and create relationships. You are confident, attentive, and have the ability to adapt your interaction based on different individuals' needs and circumstances. We also see that you have: - Upper secondary education in healthcare and nursing or children and leisure, or other education that the employer considers equivalent, such as, for example, a 2-year folk high school education as a support assistant at upper secondary level. - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing A class B driver's license may be required depending on the activity.
