Area Manager Laundry and Textiles for Regionservice in Kristianstad

We are now seeking an experienced area manager who wants to take full responsibility for Region Skåne's laundry and textile operations. Production and Logistics is part of Regionservice and is responsible for societally critical services that enable healthcare's daily operations. The Laundry and Textiles Area is responsible for Region Skåne's textile supply. Our laundry facility in Kristianstad handles large volumes of textiles every week and is a critical part of healthcare's supply chain. We are in an exciting development phase with a focus on automation, digitalization, process orientation, and continuous improvements. RESPONSIBILITIES As area manager, you are responsible for your entire operation's results. You create success in your assignment through a number of subordinate managers, whose leadership you value highly and prioritize for further development. Together with your management team, you develop the business. You translate strategy into action, coordinate flows, promote collaboration internally and externally, and lead development and change initiatives long-term with a focus on creating value for those we serve. You have overall responsibility for operations, finances, work environment, and approximately 150 employees within the laundry and textile area. In this role, you are expected to: • ensure safe, stable, and efficient production • develop operations using Lean and process-oriented working methods as a foundation • create a culture characterized by engagement, improvement work, and participation • drive change initiatives in automation, digitalization, and production development • collaborate with healthcare, internal support functions, and external partners to optimize the entire supply chain • ensure high delivery precision, quality, and cost-effectiveness. For this position, you must have experience working in multicultural work environments, excellent ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and good English language skills. Furthermore, you have successfully led larger operations through change and development with responsibility for budget, results, and personnel, and can demonstrate documented results in: • Lean Production or equivalent production philosophy • productivity-enhancing improvement work • process orientation • streamlining of production flows • leadership through managers • work environment and culture development. It is particularly meritorious if you have previous experience from laundry, process, food, or other flow-intensive production. It is also advantageous if you have a degree in engineering, production, industrial economics, or logistics. If you have experience in automation and digitalization of production processes, that is also a plus.
