The Legal Support unit is responsible for the department's review activities, litigation in court, and case-handling-related legal support. We are now strengthening our review unit with additional colleagues. We are looking for someone who, together with us, will be a driving force in legal quality work within the Benefit Fraud Department. Investigations, analyses, and teamwork As a reviewer, you uphold citizens' rights by conducting a new comprehensive review of decisions where individuals have requested that the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's decision be reconsidered. You assess, investigate, and decide on the case. You make clear and legally sound decisions that address all claims. If a reviewed decision is appealed to court, you are responsible for preparing materials for the court's review. You have contact via phone or in writing. Externally, you liaise with employers, healthcare services, the Swedish Public Employment Service, municipalities, and regional councils, among others. In your work, you actively contribute to continuous improvement of quality in work processes and case handling, and you support learning in the handling of individual cases. As a reviewer, you handle confidential information, which requires high standards of proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who: has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be considered equivalent, preferably in social sciences or law has a systematic and thorough approach and delivers results according to agreements understands and effectively analyzes complex issues collaborates effectively with others and shares knowledge, experiences, and information has good communication skills, both verbal and written supports others in striving to achieve common goals. It is advantageous if you: have in-depth knowledge of social insurance and administrative law have specialist expertise or case-handling experience in one of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's benefit areas have worked for at least 3 years with housing allowance and/or care allowance/cost compensation have or have had a responsibility area alongside your main duties, such as team coordinator or supervisor.
