About the position We are seeking a staff member within eye care with experience in children for our operations. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological and pediatric oncological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient care as well as intensive care. The work takes place in a team where the focus is on neuro-ophthalmological evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents within pediatric neurology and oncology. At team appointments, you are responsible for performing clinical status, OCT, fundus photography, and visual field testing prior to the eye doctor's visit. An important part of the position is joint planning with other professionals around patients as well as administrative tasks such as bookings from the waiting list and planning of consultation cases in inpatient care and pediatric intensive care. You will also work with chat and telephone advice for patients, parents, and other professional groups within the hospital. If needed, you have your own clinic when the eye doctor is on duty assignments or on leave. Observation prior to employment is carried out to ensure that the team spirit feels right for both parties; a 6-month probationary period is applied.
