About the Position
As an ophthalmic nurse / optician / optometrist at Digifundus in Gävle, you will work in an operation where the patient, quality, and good workflow are central.
Your work tasks may include:
reception work in eye care
preparatory examinations for physician evaluation
fundus photography and other eye examinations
vision tests, eye pressure measurement, and OCT examinations
patient information and telephone contact with patients
documentation and work in digital systems
participation in follow-up of patients with, for example, glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy
support in the care process before and after physician evaluation or treatment
The exact work content will be adapted to your experience and the operation's needs. You will receive introduction and support from experienced colleagues.
We Are Looking for You If
We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has an interest in eye care. Experience from an eye clinic, eye care, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma follow-up, or medical technical examinations is a merit, but the right person and willingness to learn is also very important.
We believe you are a person who:
works carefully and in a structured manner
has a good approach and enjoys patient contact
thrive in an environment where both care and technology meet
are confident in independent work but also appreciate teamwork
have good ability to document and work in digital systems
want to contribute to a smooth and patient-safe care process
You master Swedish in speech and writing. Additional language skills are a merit.
