Your responsibilities
As a Quote Production Planner, you are responsible for transforming customer needs and technical documentation into competitive quotes and efficient production solutions. The role involves full responsibility from customer inquiry and cost estimation to production planning, order follow-up, and continued customer development.
You will be an important link between customer, production, and engineering, and work actively to create long-term and profitable business.
Responsibilities:
• Produce production plans for new and existing products
• Calculate costs and prepare technically sound quotes
• Ensure production-feasible solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Follow up on quotes, orders, and ongoing projects
• Perform post-project cost analysis and profitability analysis
• Work closely with production, engineering, and management
• Contribute to the development of the company's work processes and methods
Your background / Your qualities
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience in production planning within manufacturing industry
• Good technical understanding and experience reading drawings
• Experience with cost estimation, quote work, or sales
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production flows
• Good computer and system skills, preferably experience with Monitor
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and suppliers
