Our Operations
Region Uppsala's Management Office is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The Management Office shall support the political leadership and administrations so that the political direction takes effect in Region Uppsala's various activities and the region can fulfill its role, regionally and nationally. The Management Office is led by the Regional Director and has a steering, supporting and coordinating role in Region Uppsala. The Management Office has departments for finance, HR, healthcare, IT, communication and information, regional development, security and preparedness, as well as the Regional Director's office. Region Uppsala's Management Office has just over 800 employees.
The IT Department is part of the Management Office and works to develop and maintain a stable, secure and future-oriented digital infrastructure. Here you have the opportunity to help shape solutions that support healthcare, research and innovation in one of Sweden's most knowledge-intensive regions.
Your Assignment
In your role as Object Specialist IT Easit, your primary task will be to maintain and develop Region Uppsala's Easit systems. Easit is used for case management, project tracking and inventory administration, among other things, but you will also lead smaller projects such as setting up integrations with other systems.
You will be an important link between IT and operations and work to transform operational needs and wishes from an IT perspective. You actively participate in troubleshooting and verification of system updates together with the system operations manager. You work centrally with the object together with the System Manager and Operations Object Specialist, and have close collaboration with several different functions, primarily within the IT Department.
Our systems and services have high demands for reliability and availability, which is why you are expected to work proactively to ensure high operational quality.
Your Qualifications
• Higher education in IT or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in IT
• Experience of leading both yourself and others in different types of assignments
• Experience with case management systems
• Basic knowledge of system development, SQL databases and system operations
• Previous experience troubleshooting IT systems
Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Your Competence
You are an unpretentious person who can safely ask for help when needed and who does not hesitate to acknowledge mistakes when they occur. You are curious about new technical solutions and can see improvement opportunities for both IT and operations.
Understanding of operational needs and a humble attitude are important qualities. You are used to working independently, being proactive and having a holistic perspective. You are curious about finding new opportunities and making life easier for operations and act proactively to create understanding.
It is meritable if you have previously worked with pm3 as a governance model and with an established project model. If you also have experience managing and developing e-services and/or have previously worked with Easit, for example as a designer, we see that as an advantage.

The position is full-time. You are placed at the hospital area or the regional office in central Uppsala. There are opportunities to work remotely.
