Our Operations
Region Uppsala is responsible for socially important functions and continuously develops its economic processes and system support. Within the economics and procurement area, we work to ensure efficient, quality-assured, and digital flows.
You will become part of a group consisting of seven object specialists and one project manager with broad expertise in economics and systems. The group works closely with operations and has joint responsibility for managing and developing the region's economy-related systems.
Your Assignment
As an object specialist, you will work with the management and further development of Region Uppsala's economics and procurement systems (Unit4) as well as systems for investment applications.
Your task is to ensure stable operations while contributing to the development and improvement of systems and working methods. The role combines ongoing management work with development initiatives.
Examples of work tasks:
• Ongoing monitoring, surveillance, and ensuring the function of systems
• Case handling and support to operations
• Participation in testing, implementations, and upgrades
• Requirements gathering and analysis in dialogue with operations
• Development, configuration, and improvement measures
• Work with integrations, digital flows, and technical adaptations
• Dialogue with suppliers and other stakeholders
• Ensure quality, traceability, and internal control
• System management according to pm3
The focus of the assignment between operations and development can be adjusted based on your expertise.
Your Qualifications
Requirements:
• Experience working with Unit4 in economics and/or procurement
• Good knowledge of accounting and economic processes
• Experience in system management or other IT-related role
• Ability to translate operational needs into system support
Meriting:
• Experience with configuration or development-related work in business systems
• Knowledge in programming, scripting, or integrations
• Experience with e-commerce in business systems (e.g., procurement flows, supplier integrations)
• Experience with APIs or integration platforms
• Experience from public sector operations
• Experience with testing and requirements work
Your Competence
You are organized, responsible, and have good collaborative skills. You thrive in a role that combines ongoing work with development and improvement.
You have the ability to work close to operations and can also take on more technically oriented tasks when needed.
