Music Teacher at Nybohovsskolan
Nybohovsskolan is seeking an engaged and qualified music teacher who wants to contribute to students' knowledge development and creative learning. In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on music instruction according to the curriculum's goals. You create a structured, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where students develop both musical skills and confidence in their own abilities.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and evaluate music instruction for primary school students.
Assess and document students' knowledge development in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student development and participation.
Integrate singing, instrumental performance, music creation, and digital tools into instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues, student support services, and guardians to support students' learning and well-being.
Participate actively in the school's development work and contribute to a positive and professional work culture.
Qualifications
Teacher certification with authorization to teach music.
Experience with instruction and assessment in primary school.
Strong ability to plan and adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances.
Personal Qualities

You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and actively contribute to the school's development work. You are engaged, organized, and have high expectations for student learning and development.
Employment Type and Duration
This is a permanent position at 40% with start date by agreement. Working hours are currently scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays but may change based on operational needs.
