Åseda Health Center is located in Uppvidinge Municipality and has approximately 3,600 registered patients. Here patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, with specialized clinics for child health/family center, elderly care, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. In our work, we focus on respectful treatment, good accessibility, and always put the patient at the center. We run a child health center and have a seniors clinic in collaboration with Lenhovda Health Center. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The best part about working as a district nurse/registered nurse at a health center is meeting patients of all ages and life situations. We see children, adults, and seniors who need advice or care. Some we see very rarely and others more regularly. We work from both a health promotion and disease prevention perspective, but also with acute symptoms. Your duties will include phone advice, appointment scheduling, and clinic work. If you're interested, there are excellent opportunities to specialize in some of our specialist clinics based on your skills, experience, and interests. As a district nurse/registered nurse in primary care, you will also contribute your expertise to our on-call medical center. We are available to our residents on weekends and weekdays after 5 p.m. Many of us share this responsibility, and we offer you special introductory training for the on-call center so you feel confident and can develop in your role. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for you who are a district nurse or licensed registered nurse, preferably with experience from a health center or clinic work. If you have specialist expertise in diabetes care or care for the elderly, we consider that a merit. At the same time, we place great importance on personal suitability.
