We're looking for hourly substitute workers with the possibility of scheduled shifts moving forward. Shifts are primarily scheduled for evenings, nights (sleeping on-call), and weekends. Here you'll work with a 15-year-old girl who is curious about life, loves animals, and is mostly a real joy to be around! The client has cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. She uses a wheelchair and communicates using some words and sign language. We're looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and has their heart in the right place. It's important that you are responsible and reliable, but also creative and playful. You need to be attentive to the client's subtle signals and body language. You will be an important part of her daily life and help her succeed with everything from social activities and outings to personal care, mobility assistance, and communication. You will also become part of the family's everyday life, and it's important that you have understanding for and respect the family's integrity, privacy, and personal boundaries. We value that you have experience working with children. It's a plus but not a requirement if you have training in healthcare and social services. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and the chemistry between you and the client. We want you to see this as a long-term job. Since 2011, Rullarnas has held a license from IVO, the Swedish Inspectorate for Care Services, to provide personal assistance. Rullarnas' goal is to provide both clients and staff with the best possible conditions to feel secure in their roles. Rullarnas' vision is to offer more clients high-quality personal assistance where the personal assistants' competence and development are highly prioritized. Rullarnas shall arrange personal assistance according to LSS intentions and is committed to providing assistance of the highest quality while always respecting the client's wishes and the assistants' employment conditions.
