About the Position
Novelia currently operates two HVB homes for children and youth located in Vikmanshyttan called Hyttan and Viken. We are now seeking staff to work as substitutes at both units!
We have 9 places per residence and we provide assessment, care, and treatment for girls ages 13–17 who exhibit attachment problems, neuropsychiatric behavioral problems, self-destructive behavior, social behavioral and interaction difficulties, who have been in inappropriate environments, who have committed isolated crimes, who have tried drugs, who have threatening behavior and get into conflict with other people. The girls may have significant school absences and also have social interaction difficulties and social skills deficits.
The facility's approach strives to create a safe, comfortable, and predictable environment for the young people living in the HVB home. The milieu therapeutic work is aimed at involving the youth and making them active participants in creating functioning daily routines and in their treatment. We individualize treatment as much as possible and have access to qualified specialist expertise within the social and psychiatric field.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or nursing assistant with a psychiatry focus. It is meriting if you have college credits in CBT, MI, ACRA, neuropsychiatric disabilities, or pedagogy.
You have experience working in care and/or social work. You also have experience working with children and youth and can express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing. Previous work at HVB with clients who have externalizing behavior is strongly meriting.
The position includes treatment interventions through conversations, activities, structured daily routines, and basic care for the children living in our facilities. You are responsible for creating relationships with both the child and important people in their network.
The position also includes customary household and cleaning tasks that occur at a residence.

Collective Agreement, Benefits & Compensation
All companies in the Novelia Group are members of Almega/Vårdföretagarna and have collective agreements under Industry E. For this role, the collective agreement between Almega/Vårdföretagarna and Vision applies.
Salary is differentiated and individual according to agreement.
Start Date & Scope
