Do you want to lead a Nordic payroll organization in an international corporation while driving digitalization, harmonization, and development of future payroll delivery? We are now seeking an experienced Nordic Payroll Manager for a leading international corporation with operations throughout the Nordic region. The role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with operational responsibility in a complex and business-close environment. About the Role As Nordic Payroll Manager, you are responsible for the delivery of approximately 3,000 salaries per month in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. You lead a Nordic payroll organization within Shared Services with a total of 12 employees and hold overall responsibility for quality, efficiency, compliance, and continued development of payroll processes. You report to the Nordic organization and work closely with HR, Finance, business leaders, and external partners and system providers. Placement is flexible within the Nordic region, with Stockholm as the preferred location. Travel to the Nordic countries will occur. Your Main Areas of Responsibility · Lead, develop, and coach the Nordic payroll organization · Ensure correct and efficient payroll delivery according to established SLAs · Drive harmonization, digitalization, and automation of payroll processes · Ensure compliance with local laws, collective agreements, tax regulations, and GDPR in all Nordic countries · Manage budget, monitoring, and cost efficiency within the payroll function · Develop collaboration between Shared Services, HR, Finance, and the business · Participate in and drive Nordic and global projects related to systems, process development, and transformation · Serve as a strategic advisor in payroll-related processes and contribute to the organization's continued development We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: · University degree in HR, Economics, or equivalent experience · At least 7-10 years of experience in qualified payroll work · At least 5 years of management experience · Experience from Shared Services, service centers, or similar organizations · Good understanding of Nordic payroll processes, collective agreements, and regulations · Experience with change management, digitalization, and process development · Experience working in a Nordic or international environment · Very good English skills and at least one Nordic language It is a merit if you have experience with Workday, Agda, SD Worx, or other major HR and payroll systems.
