Their operations focus on engineering, manufacturing, and assembly of complete structural solutions – including walls and roofs – for industrial and commercial properties, halls, and bridges for pedestrian, vehicle, and railway traffic. They offer comprehensive solutions encompassing the entire value chain – from technical engineering and project management to production, logistics, and installation. Responsibilities In your role as site manager, you will be responsible for some of the country's most significant building projects in structural steel and prefab construction. You have overall responsibility for the assembly site, lead daily operations, and ensure that implementation maintains the correct quality while meeting schedules, budgets, and safety requirements. You have personnel responsibility on site and collaborate with experienced supervisors. As site manager, you are a key person in our projects across all of Nordec's business areas. Multi-story projects and bridge projects focus on established customers in the construction sector, while hall and industrial projects are often linked to the green industrial transition, where Nordec builds the future together with leading actors. Work takes place in an international environment with projects across borders, while the company is small enough to provide short decision-making processes, openness, and a culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Key Areas of Responsibility: • Drive building projects in structural steel, prefab, and house construction. Experience in industrial construction is an advantage. • Lead the building site and ensure quality, schedules, budgets, and safety • Coordinate work with supervisors and have indirect personnel responsibility • Work in an international environment with short decision-making processes and significant influence Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities • Relevant post-secondary education in construction or engineering • Documented experience leading assembly or construction projects, preferably in industrial or structural steel construction • Experience with overall responsibility including budget and profit responsibility • Strong leadership skills and experience with personnel responsibility • Swedish and English in speech and writing; Finnish is a merit • Valid category B driver's license We seek an engaged and structured leader who dares to take responsibility and make confident decisions even under time pressure.
