Your New Position
You will work teaching science subjects in combination with another subject. You will also serve as a mentor for grade 7 students. You will be part of both a work team and a subject team, where together you work to create the conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with strong relationships.

We have 430 students distributed across grades 7–9. The school is beautifully situated on a hill above Norrahammar with an adjacent sports and swimming hall and access to football fields. Flahultsskolan is built on the principle of home base for each grade level with corresponding work teams.
Our school strives to be a leader in preventative values-based work with close collaboration between educators and teachers in after-school programs, special education teachers, and the student support team. Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with teacher certification, or alternatively a candidate who has not yet obtained certification or is near the end of their studies, with qualifications in science for grades 7–9, preferably in combination with another subject. You are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people according to their individual circumstances. You have an interest in knowledge and digitalization methods to develop your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and are a good role model. As a person, you work well collaboratively, but also take own initiative and make independent decisions in your work situation. We consider it a merit if you have experience teaching and working with students.
Beyond this, you are well grounded in the compulsory school mission and its governing documents and have good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written. You also have basic IT skills. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
