Welcome to Sollefteå – here we make a difference, together. Nipanskolan is centrally located on the northern side of Ångermanälven in Sollefteå town. The school has approximately 430 students from pre-school class through grade 9. We are a total of about 60 employees, all professional categories included. At the school there are several lead teachers, and the competence among the rest of the staff is high and valued by school management. The school is also one of Mid Sweden University's partner schools for its teacher education program. At Nipanskolan, we continuously work with joint professional development initiatives. These initiatives have had somewhat different content (SKUA, Classroom Leadership, Lesson Design), but the overarching aim has been to develop collegial learning. During the 2025/26 school year we have also worked with colleague visits. Nipanskolan is thus a relatively large unit that creates several advantages, among them: - strong subject teams with several teachers teaching the same subject. - a well-developed student support service with counselors, school nurses, study and career advisors, special education teachers, and access to a school psychologist. - good opportunities for cross-grade collaboration - a well-functioning school library with daily staffing 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You teach German in grades 6-9. The position also includes mentorship for a class in grades 7-9 together with a colleague. The position may in time be combined with other subjects, and would then increase in scope. For school year 2026/27, it comprises 50% of a full-time position. With us you work in a team together with your colleagues. In the team we discuss teaching and student assessment together, how we can best support our students to reach as far as possible, and more. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified and licensed to teach German. The position is filled subject to required decisions. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-11. A number of positions in Sollefteå Municipality are classified in a security class according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
