For NELLY, one of the Nordic region's leading fashion e-commerce retailers, we are now seeking a Senior Business Controller with a strong FP&A profile. This is a key role for you who wants to be part of developing how we work with budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and decision support. We are looking for someone who is not satisfied with just describing what has happened, but who is driven to understand why it happened, what needs to improve, and how we can make better decisions going forward. About the RoleAs Senior Business Controller, you will become a central part of the Finance team and an important partner to the CFO, management, and operations. You will own and drive NELLY's budget and forecast process and be responsible for developing working methods, models, and governance related to financial monitoring. The role involves a strong focus on analysis, BI development, and converting data into concrete insights that drive the business forward. You will work closely with both Finance, BI, and other parts of the organization and are expected to be a driving force in streamlining processes, developing KPI structures, and improving decision-making materials for management and the board. The role includes, among other things: Lead and develop the budget and forecast process from start to finish Analyze outcomes, KPIs, and business drivers Prepare decision-making materials for management and the board Drive the development of reports, dashboards, and BI solutions Identify and implement process improvements within Finance Conduct scenario analyses, business cases, and ad hoc analyses Provide business-oriented support to management and operations Your ProfileWe are looking for someone with several years of experience in Business Controlling and FP&A who is accustomed to working closely with operations in a role where analysis leads to action. You are unpretentious, you have a strong drive for development, and you thrive in environments where not everything is already built out. You see opportunities for improvement, take your own initiatives, and drive change forward. If you have experience from retail or e-commerce, that is a major plus. If you have also worked in the fashion industry, you will quickly understand processes such as seasons, assortment, inventory, and product flows. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 5-8 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or similar Documented experience with budget, forecast, and reporting processes High proficiency in Excel and experience with advanced financial modeling Experience with BI tools and data-driven analysis Good understanding of accounting and financial relationships Ability to independently drive development and improvement initiatives We also believe you are analytical, curious, and communicative.
