Emergency Medical Services (registration No. 90009029104, nmpd.gov.lv) invites applications for a vacant position Specialist in Emergency Medical Services Brigade Support (occupation codes 3258 01; 2240 01; 2221 46) At the Kuldīga Brigade Support Center We invite a responsible professional to join our team who will support brigades' daily operations and help ensure medical resource readiness for service delivery! Work schedule: Permanent position, full-time 40 hours per week according to a flexible work time schedule Work location: Kuldīga Your responsibilities will include: providing support to emergency medical services (EMS) brigades in work organization; ensuring circulation of medical material and technical resources necessary for EMS brigade operations – issuing and receiving medical resources, checking technical condition and readiness of medical equipment; ensuring medical resource circulation records in the Horizon resource management system. Join NMPD if you have: first-level professional higher or secondary professional medical education (Emergency Medicine Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nurse qualification) and are registered in the Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Support Professionals Register; 3 years of professional work experience (preferably in emergency medicine at the pre-hospital stage); knowledge of EMS provision and necessary resource management; responsible attitude toward work and precision; good communication skills (state language proficiency at C1 level); experience with EMY programs, Horizon resource management system, and SMART is considered an advantage.
