Your Role As an NC/CNC Operator at Saab, you'll work with the manufacturing of high-precision components in a modern production environment. Production is characterized by short runs, high variation, and a strong focus on quality. You'll be involved in the entire manufacturing process and work closely with experienced colleagues to ensure our products meet the high standards our operations demand. Your Responsibilities Operate and monitor NC and CNC machines Perform machine setup, adjustments, and tool changes Measure and inspect parts according to drawings and specifications Work according to work instructions, quality requirements, and established processes Contribute to order, safety, and continuous improvements in production Collaborate with colleagues in production, quality, and engineering Your Profile We believe you're someone who enjoys technology, has a quality mindset, and thrives in an environment where precision is important. We welcome candidates from various types of manufacturing industries, such as machine shops, automotive, medical technology, aerospace, or other technically advanced production. What We're Looking For Experience with CNC or NC machining, or relevant technical education combined with practical experience Good understanding of blueprint reading Experience with measuring techniques and quality controls Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience with turning or milling Experience with machine setup and tool optimization Experience with Okuma or YASTA Experience working with high quality requirements and tight tolerances More About the Position Work Hours: Saab is currently recruiting staff for different shifts: Shift work: Saab is currently recruiting staff for different shifts: Permanent 2-shift Permanent day Permanent evening Employment Type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period Security Clearance: This position requires that you be approved for a security clearance in accordance with Swedish security protection legislation.
