Eccera is now looking for an experienced network technician who wants to develop, operate and improve modern network environments. We're looking for someone with a strong technical interest, who enjoys problem-solving and wants to contribute your expertise in an exciting assignment with one of our customers in Göteborg. Your tasks As a network technician at Eccera, you work to develop, operate and maintain stable and secure network environments. You contribute to the network infrastructure functioning efficiently and reliably, while working to identify areas for improvement and further develop existing solutions. Depending on the assignment and customer, your tasks may include: Configuration, operation and troubleshooting of network infrastructure Maintenance and optimization of routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networks Troubleshooting and problem-solving for network-related incidents Work with network security, documentation and change management Collaboration with other technical teams to ensure a stable and secure IT environment Your profile We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented network technician with a structured work approach. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently and finding solutions to technical challenges. At the same time, you appreciate collaboration, have good communication skills and want to continue developing within your technical field. Requirements At least 5 years of experience working as a network technician or in a similar network role Experience with configuration, operation and troubleshooting of network infrastructure Good knowledge of network protocols and techniques such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP Experience with network components such as routers, switches and firewalls Ability to work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Merits Experience with network security and segmentation Knowledge of wireless networks (WLAN) Experience with network platforms from for example Cisco, Aruba or Fortinet Experience with automation and scripting, for example with Python or PowerShell Knowledge of cloud-based network solutions, for example Azure or AWS Relevant certifications, for example CCNA, CCNP or equivalent What we offer At Eccera, you get the tools you need to reach your goals.
