Main Responsibilities Work as a network technician involves a broad spectrum of network-related tasks. This can include configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, routers, and switches. Reviewing technical documentation and reporting and documenting ongoing and completed work is something we see as a natural part of the job. Qualifications Academic education with IT focus or other post-secondary education and/or experience we deem equivalent Current and relevant experience with switches, routers, and network protocols Good knowledge of network equipment such as firewalls and load balancers Good knowledge and understanding of networks and IT infrastructure Good knowledge of Cisco network products Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in both Swedish and English Swedish citizen Category B driver's license Meritorious Encryption and secure communication Certification in Cisco networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) Experience building and designing network environments Meritorious with Linux/Unix knowledge Meritorious with knowledge of Windows server and AD Personal Qualities You are a driven and initiative-taking person who gets the job done without compromising on quality. Other Information The position is a permanent civilian employment with Stockholm as place of work. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those who have not previously been employed by the Swedish Armed Forces. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
