Network Coordinator for the Social Services Department, Solna Municipality
We are now recruiting an additional team member to our established network team that works strategically with network-based interventions within social services. Are you interested in joining us? About the Workplace The Children and Youth Division is responsible for statutory authority and services directed toward children ages 0–20 and their families. The division is organized into different groups: intake group, investigation group for children and youth respectively, placement group, open care services, family law, and the network and field group. What Does the Work Involve? The Social Services Department views network-based work as a strategic priority for creating sustainable solutions for children, young people, adults, and families. The department has a network team that organizationally belongs to the Children and Youth Division but supports the entire social services department in network-based work. Now the team is expanding and we are looking for another team member! Your role as a Network Coordinator is to explore, mobilize, invite, and lead various types of network meetings with both professional and private participants. The process begins with preliminary meetings to explore the network, needs, and purpose of the network meeting together with the client, guardians, and the child. The meetings are shaped based on needs and can be investigative, therapeutic, and coordinating in nature. It is precisely this variety and the opportunity to create meaningful change that makes the work both developmental and exciting. As a Network Coordinator, you enable—together with your network colleague—important conversations between private and professional individuals to find solutions moving forward. Who Are We Looking For? We are now seeking a Network Coordinator and would like to see that you hold a degree in social work or another university degree with a social focus. We would also like to see that you have: Experience with network-based work involving children, young people, adults, and families Experience with and knowledge of systems theory and solution-focused work Experience and training in Signs of Safety and safety planning Experience with municipal social services and statutory authority Experience with psychosocial change work with individuals and families We consider it a merit if you also have: Training as a Network Coordinator Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) Advanced training in family work We believe you will thrive and succeed in the role of Network Coordinator if you have a strong commitment to network-based work and see the value of collaboration in providing the best possible support to the people we serve. You have a strong ability to build relationships, coordinate different actors, and lead meetings and processes in a structured and inclusive manner. You are flexible and can adapt your working approach based on different situations and needs. We are looking for someone who is self-directed and takes responsibility for driving work forward, while also valuing participation and collaboration. You are secure and stable in your professional role, have good personal maturity, and build trust in interactions with others. Great weight will be given to your collaboration skills and personal qualities. Our Offer We can offer you a work group with great job satisfaction and a commitment to developing network-based work. We also provide external supervision and development work with support from the division's operations developer. We apply flexible vacation planning and annual work hours where you have the opportunity to plan your own working time in consultation with your immediate supervisor. We also offer wellness benefits.
