About the Position
At Maxitech, we now have an available assignment at half-time, completely remote! We are looking for a technically skilled consultant who wants to teach networking, security, and WiFi at the vocational college level. This assignment is perfect for you if you have practical experience in the field and appreciate explaining technology, sharing your expertise, and contributing to others' development.
The first assignment includes the course Networks, Security and WiFi, equivalent to 30 vocational credits. The course contains both theoretical and practical components including network topologies, TCP/IP, network security, firewalls, IDS, WiFi, and configuration of routers and switches.
The assignment is carried out entirely remotely and the course material is already prepared. The focus is therefore primarily on teaching, mentoring, and follow-up of students.
What We Offer
• A flexible consulting assignment at 50% conducted entirely remotely
• The opportunity to plan teaching days based on your availability
• Ready-made course materials and customer support regarding structure and introduction

• Teaching network topologies, the OSI model, TCP/IP, and common network protocols
• Explaining and demonstrating network security, firewalls, and IDS
• Teaching architecture, installation, and security for WiFi networks
• Leading practical exercises in subnetting, addressing, and network design
• Demonstrating how to configure routers and switches for basic network operations
• Mentoring students in troubleshooting and optimizing network and wireless performance
• Supporting students in project work and oral presentations
• Preparing lessons, answering questions, and handling grading and some administrative tasks
• Assessing student performance based on course objectives and grading criteria
Your Profile
We are looking for documented work experience in the following areas:
• IT infrastructure
• Networking and network security
• WiFi and wireless networks
• Firewalls and IDS
• Operations or system administration

Previous teaching or pedagogical experience is a merit but not required.
