About the Job As a Network Architect with us, you'll develop future network solutions for the Swedish Tax Agency and several other government agencies. You'll be part of an agile team with experienced network specialists and architects. The team is responsible for developing physical and logical networks within data centers and access networks. Our solutions form the foundation of the Swedish Tax Agency's IT infrastructure and are essential for the agency's services to function safely and stably. In this role, you'll work both strategically and operatively to develop and further enhance network solutions and technical platforms. You're responsible for planning and implementing lifecycle management within your area, as well as designing, implementing, and verifying new solutions. The work involves close collaboration with suppliers, partners, and adjacent technical areas to ensure efficient and sustainable deliveries. You'll also contribute to standardization and long-term development within the network field to create a stable, secure, and future-proof infrastructure. Right now, we're facing several major development initiatives. We're modernizing our office networks with Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) being gradually implemented throughout the environment while simultaneously building the next generation data center to meet future needs. This gives you the opportunity to be part of developing some of the Swedish Tax Agency's most central network environments. Experience with wireless networks and network-based access control solutions is particularly interesting for us. About You To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In your work, good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important. You should also live up to our employee policy. In this job, you should: - have good collaboration skills and understand the importance of building relationships and networks, both within and outside your own team, to achieve set goals - be independent and able to take responsibility for assignments and drive work forward - be organized and able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently - be able to analyze complex information, see connections, patterns, and draw well-founded conclusions to solve complex problems - have good judgment and be able to make well-founded assessments between different needs, requirements, and conditions - have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish You should also have: - several years of current and relevant professional experience in the network field, including experience with Cisco-based network solutions - relevant professional experience in designing, implementing, further developing, and optimizing network infrastructure in larger operations - relevant professional experience in network architecture and translating business and technical needs into technical solutions - relevant professional experience driving technical initiatives It's desirable to have relevant professional experience in design, implementation, further development, and optimization within one or more of the following areas: - network segmentation at different levels - large wireless networks, including radio planning with Ekahau - network-based access control (NAC) - access networks in larger operations Good to Know Due to the vacation period, the recruiting manager has limited ability to answer questions until week 34.
