With accessible and varied outdoor recreation opportunities, we enable residents and visitors to enjoy an active leisure time, which in turn contributes to good public health. You will become part of the team that maintains and manages our facilities at approximately 30 different locations throughout the municipality. Work Tasks Your main responsibilities will be maintenance, operation, and care of the municipality's outdoor recreation areas, outdoor facilities, and cultural environments. The work tasks may include maintenance work on buildings, trails/paths, grass/brush clearing, tree felling, building work, and manufacturing of service installations, wood handling, supervision and cleaning of rest areas, trail grooming in winter, etc. You may also serve as a supervisor for interns and seasonal youth workers. The assignment also includes service and maintenance of equipment necessary for the work, such as brush cutters and chainsaws, lawn mowers, vehicles, etc. You will be based at our facilities in Köpmanholmen, but the assignment covers the entire municipality, both inland and archipelago areas. Qualifications We are looking for someone with documented experience in carpentry work, forest work, and preferably cultural environments. You are solution-oriented and have strong practical skills. The work is sometimes physically demanding and requires good physical fitness. A valid driver's license with category B is required. Meritorious qualifications include chainsaw certificate AB, brush cutter certificate AB, driver's license category BE or higher, skipper's certificate class 8, Hot work certification, or building conservation expertise. Some positions in our municipality are placed in security class, so security vetting may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
