Are you looking for a seasonal job in nature? Perfect! We're also looking for guides for the winter who can work at our facility, 10 kilometers from the nearest road in Kiruna's fantastic wilderness. Together with our guests, we ride snowmobiles to our off-grid camp in a very beautiful natural setting, right next to a section of the Torne River that never freezes. We cross the river by rubber boat and once there, you'll find a Sami lavvu (traditional tent), wood-heated cabins, a sauna, and a grill hut. On clear winter evenings, there's a great chance to experience millions of stars and the Northern Lights – it's a workplace you'll never forget. Your tasks at the camp include: Welcoming guests from all corners of the world Demonstrating and instructing everything from wood chopping to snowmobile tours, skiing, ice fishing, and ice bath experiences (you don't need to participate in all activities) Serving meals made with local ingredients Telling fascinating stories from Lapland's past and present – and creating a wonderful atmosphere for people experiencing something they've long dreamed about Maintaining the cabins and cleaning Our typical guests are adventurous 20-30 year-olds with great spirits. They're engaged and love chatting with you and your colleagues. We guide both large and small groups, and the intensity varies from day to day. Together with the team, you'll be an important part of the experience. You'll share guests' expectations, create memories, and be a major reason they enjoy their time with us and talk about us. Working closely together during an intense season in nature has not only created strong teams – many have also found lifelong friends. Who are we? Our company is called Taube Activity and was one of the first nature guide companies established in northern Sweden, in 1978. We're a small company with just a few employees, which creates a genuine and special atmosphere with plenty of opportunities and personal contact – for both employees and guests. Even though the workplace is in the heart of the wilderness, our way of working is well-organized. Safety, teamwork, and good planning mean you'll quickly feel secure in your role. We're now looking for a colleague who is hardworking, takes initiative, has a strong safety mindset, and excellent social skills. Someone who loves making people feel welcome and secure.
