We are now seeking personal assistants for a customer living in Linköping.
About the Personal Assistant Role
As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday activities and during leisure time. Your workplace is wherever the customer is located, and your tasks generally involve assisting the customer so they can live the life they wish.
Your Responsibilities:
Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, cooking, to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.
What We're Looking For:
The position includes tube feeding, medication administration through feeding tubes, inhalations, and handling oxygen during nighttime. It's a significant advantage if you know sign language support, as the child uses sign language combined with limited speech. Basic sign language support training is available at the workplace, and you are expected to participate during work hours.
It's important that you don't smoke and are not allergic to pets, as there is a cat in the home. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities to ensure a good fit with the child you'll be working with; therefore, your personal letter is essential to this application.
About the Employment
The employment is on an as-needed basis with hourly wage compensation. Working hours vary based on the customer's needs: nights on call, weekdays, and weekends.
Salary and other employment terms are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
