Tullkvarnsvägen is a specialized residential facility focused on somatic care with 50 beds. The home is located just outside Krokom's city center, surrounded by nature and the river. In your role as a nursing assistant, you will provide care and support according to residents' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. For example, you will help with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, respond to calls, and provide social companionship. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can range from conversation, playing games, going on outings, or enjoying fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and rehabilitation exercises. Job Description We are currently seeking a nursing assistant on a part-time basis for a night shift temporary position with 73.36% employment, starting approximately September 1, 2026, or by agreement. The temporary position is for a colleague on educational leave and will run for at least 1 year, with the possibility of extension. To be a qualified candidate for this position, you need: A certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written We also consider it a merit if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care. To thrive in this role, you are committed and care about your fellow human beings, while being skilled at building good relationships and service-oriented.
