In central Ystad, we welcome our guests to a unique hotel experience characterized by warmth, personality, and genuine care. The hotel has 52 unique rooms, each with its own story. Brasserie du Sud is the hotel's heart – a vibrant meeting place for culinary experiences, community, and memorable moments. There are also meeting rooms and a gallery, making the hotel an inspiring place for accommodations, meetings, and events. You set the tone for the guests' experience, say goodnight with a smile, and welcome a new day with energy and care. Your role is crucial for ensuring our guests feel safe, welcomed, and well cared for, regardless of the time of day. Since you will be working most of the night independently, you need to be confident, responsible, and comfortable making independent decisions. You are the one who ensures that everything is in order while the city sleeps. Your Tasks and Superpowers • Independent and Responsible: You take responsibility, stay calm, and find solutions when unexpected situations arise. • Professional Check-In and Check-Out: You give every guest a warm and personal welcome. • Preparations and Setup: You ensure that our meeting rooms and common areas are welcoming and ready for upcoming events. • Breakfast Buffet Preparation: You set up the breakfast buffet and make it welcoming for our morning guests. • Service and Guest Care: You assist our guests and serve beverages with professionalism and a service mindset. • Clean and Welcoming Environments: With your eye for detail, you ensure that the hotel's spaces maintain the highest standards. • Safety and Security: You conduct security checks and ensure that the hotel's fire and safety procedures are followed. • Administrative Precision: You handle the night's administrative tasks carefully and efficiently. Your Nocturnal Adventure Begins Here The position involves night work according to a schedule where you work seven nights followed by seven days off. Work is on both weekdays and weekends. We would like to see that you: • Have previous experience from hotels, reception, or other service professions. • Are comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. • Are confident, solution-oriented, and have professional customer service skills. • Speak Swedish and English fluently. Additional languages are a plus. • Have experience with the hotel booking system Visbook – this is a plus but not required. Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement.
