Our facility is located in the beautiful natural setting of Dänningelanda, approximately 1 mile south of Växjö. While we have several operations in Dänningelanda, we are now seeking you to work at our supported living facility. The facility is home to 14 residents, and you should have an interest in providing care and support to residents with various functional variations. The facility serves individuals with diverse needs in the areas of mental health/autism spectrum/intellectual disabilities. We are looking for a dedicated support worker who will do everything to ensure that residents at the supported living facility thrive and feel secure. We want you to work using a low-arousal approach, be open to changes in the operations, and be able to work with your colleagues based on the routines and structures that exist in the workplace. Employment: We offer a wellness allowance of 2,500 kr/year. Start date November 2026 or by agreement. Position is approximately 80-90%. We apply a 6-month probationary period and individual salary negotiation. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal. Your duties: You are responsible for creating safety and structure for residents according to their needs during nighttime hours. You will assist with simple tasks, such as some cleaning and errands. You collaborate with night staff at your own and other facilities to create safety and stability. You always start from each resident's individual needs and right to self-determination. A large part of the work consists of contributing to the resident's independence and well-being based on each resident's circumstances, as well as adapting your communication so that residents at the supported living facility feel that you understand and respect them. The work involves administrative tasks such as social documentation, which requires good computer skills. You will maintain a professional yet close, motivating, and reassuring approach toward the residents you care for. You will work awake night shifts on a rotating schedule. Qualifications: You must be trained as a nursing assistant or have equivalent education with a pedagogical focus. You should have good computer skills and experience with documentation. As a person, you are responsible, confident, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driver's license. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Training or work experience in low-arousal approaches - studio 3. Experience working within the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Experience working with clarifying pedagogy. Knowledge of documentation according to IBIC. We require an extract from the criminal record register.
