WORK TASKS
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are confident in your role as a mechanic and have previous experience with industrial maintenance. You need to be practical-minded, thorough, and accustomed to working with a solution-oriented approach even when the pace is high, and you should not be afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
We would like to see that you have several years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery in heavy manufacturing or process industries. The work consists of preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, component replacement, repairs, and certain work in our own workshop. Systematic maintenance work is continuously documented in our maintenance system.
Personal qualities are highly valued. We see that you are a responsible and unpretentious person who finds it easy to collaborate with colleagues, both in maintenance and production. For us, it is important that you want to contribute to order and organization, safe work practices, continuous improvements, and a positive atmosphere.
A driver's license is a requirement. You also need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits include experience in heavy industry, preventive maintenance, hot work, and a forklift certificate.
QUALIFICATIONS
What does the role involve?
We are looking for an experienced mechanic who wants to work close to production and contribute to high availability at our sawmill in Hjältevad. As a night mechanic, you will be an important part of our maintenance team and you will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance. The work includes, among other things, troubleshooting, repairs, lubrication, mechanical improvements, and inspection of machinery and equipment.
The role is suitable for you if you are looking for independent work where you can take responsibility, prioritize, and solve practical problems when production needs support.
The position involves permanent night shift work.
