JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to make a real difference where your expertise is needed most?
As a nurse in the Health and Medical Care office, you play a key role in creating security for Gävle's residents during all the night hours. Here you become an important part of the municipality's health and medical care, and you make a difference with every shift you work.
You work nights in a team with another nurse and are responsible for health and medical care services for patients in the municipality's care and residential facilities, home health care, LSS services, and social psychiatry. The work is independent and varied, encompassing both planned interventions, medical assessments on-site, and telephone advice to patients, family members, and care staff.
Your work tasks include:
• Carry out planned health and medical care interventions.
• Conduct medical assessments on-site and by telephone.
• Provide qualified advice to patients, family members, and care staff.
• Manage medical documentation in accordance with current guidelines.
You work preventively with a focus on the patient's health and well-being, always taking a holistic approach to ensure good, safe, and quality care. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in health care and nursing. You are part of one of our district offices and report to the responsible manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
As a nurse in the Health and Medical Care office, you help create security when it is needed most during all the hours of the night. You are a vital part of the municipality's health and medical care and make a difference for Gävle's residents with every shift.
• Hold a nursing license and are confident working independently, especially during nights.
• Category B driver's license and driving experience.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and are experienced with documentation.
It is a merit for the position if you have specialist training as a district nurse or in geriatrics, or if you have experience in municipal health and medical care. It is also desirable if you have experience with record systems such as Treserva, TES, Lifecare, Pascal, and NPÖ.
