E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy company E.ON SE with headquarters in Essen, Germany. Around 70,000 people work within the group in 17 countries. Around 2,100 dedicated employees work throughout Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility for and drive development forward, so that more can transition. Through our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs. In Customer Delivery Nässjö, we work with customer connections and other customer-driven projects in our local grid. In our team of twelve colleagues in network technology, planning, and project management, we ensure that our customers receive secure and sustainable solutions while developing the power grid of the future. At our office in Nässjö, we have around 30 employees within several related business areas, which gives us excellent opportunities to collaborate, share knowledge, and help each other. Your Role As a Network Technician, you will have a varied role where you are involved throughout the entire customer process - from the first conversation to completion and follow-up of the work. You become an important link between our customers, contractors, and colleagues, combining technology, service, and problem-solving in your daily work. You will work with: handling customer cases such as new connections, cable relocations, and grid repairs supporting and advising customers, landowners, and contractors on matters concerning the electrical grid preparing documentation, performing simple calculations, creating quotes and orders, and monitoring project finances ordering and following up work with our contractors and internal partners visiting project sites in the field, conducting inspections, and ensuring that work is completed according to plan Your Experience We are looking for someone with a basic understanding of electricity and preferably experience from the electrical or installation industry. For example, this could be from work as an installation electrician or another role where you gained practical understanding of electricity and technical environments. Experience with power grids, electricity distribution, or simple grid calculations is a merit, but you don't need to know everything from the start—we have both expertise and colleagues to learn from. An important part of the role is working in multiple digital systems and managing many parallel cases. Therefore, we believe you feel comfortable with digital tools and have an easy time learning new systems and ways of working. Experience with, for example, SAP or dpPower is positive but not required. You meet many different people every day, and we therefore believe you enjoy building good relationships, listening to needs, and finding solutions together with others. When unexpected questions arise, you are curious and solution-oriented and aren't afraid to think things through to find a good way forward. At the same time, we strongly believe that we win together - you happily share your knowledge, ask for support when you need it, and contribute to others' success as well. The role is primarily office-based, but part of the work takes place in the field where you meet customers and follow our projects closely. A B-class driver's license is therefore required for this position. What is it like working here? We welcome you to a team where we help each other, share knowledge, and together take responsibility for finding good solutions. Here there is room to bring new perspectives and ideas, while you also have the opportunity to learn from colleagues with different experiences and expertise. Your manager, Johan, values close collaboration and a climate where it is easy to ask questions, request support, and contribute your thoughts. For us, it is important that you both have the opportunity to develop in your role and feel like part of the team. At E.ON, we actively work on inclusion - it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continually challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive. We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal wellbeing. We therefore offer excellent benefits so that you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include reduced working hours that exceed the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more! We warmly welcome your application and invite you to join us on the path toward a more sustainable society! The application deadline is September 11.
