About the role of Network Planner Regional Grid As a network planner in regional grid at Ellevio, you will have a key role in developing Sweden's power grid. You will work with network planning, technical investigations, and long-term solutions for regional grids at 20–220 kV. The role suits you if you want to combine power engineering, analysis, and collaboration with the opportunity to influence how tomorrow's energy system is built. You will work closely with project managers, local network planners, technical specialists, and consultants. In the role, you will, among other things, work with: Formulating, analyzing, and optimizing network solutions based on technology, cost, capacity, reliability, and environment. Preparing investment calculations, principle solutions, and decision-making documents for development and reinforcement of the regional grid. Conducting technical investigations, feasibility studies, and analyses related to power, grid development, and future capacity needs. Driving project investigations from the early stage to handover for implementation. Contributing to planning of future reinvestments and new facilities. Contributing to CAD, 3D, and digitalization-related tasks depending on your experience and focus area. Collaborating with municipalities, authorities, and other stakeholders on permits and planning matters. We are seeking employees primarily positioned in Stockholm or Karlstad, but for the right person, we can discuss placement at our office in Kungsbacka. For you to fit and thrive in the role We are looking for someone with work experience in power, electricity networks, regional grids, design, or technical investigations, and who wants to continue developing in a role with significant impact. You have a solid technical foundation, are curious, and want to contribute together with others. We would like it if you: Have a few years of experience working with power engineering, grid development, network planning, or design. Have good understanding of power systems and preferably experience with regional grids, substations, lines, or cables. Enjoy technical analysis work and want to find sustainable solutions to complex issues. Have experience collaborating in technical projects with multiple different stakeholders. Can drive matters forward in a structured way while contributing to open and unpretentious collaboration. Want to develop your competence and take greater responsibility as you grow in the role. Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical specialists and other internal and external collaboration partners. It is advantageous if you have any of the following: Higher education or university degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, energy systems, or equivalent work experience. Project management, design, or planning within regional grids, substation projects, line projects, or cable projects. Knowledge of investment calculations and planning processes. CAD, 3D modeling, ArcGIS, or other digital tools for planning, analysis, or design. Contact with authorities or experience with permit processes.
