About the workplace As a Business Development Strategist, you will work alongside another colleague in the Development Unit, which is part of the Management and Operations Support sector. The Development Unit currently has 11 employees working on cross-municipal issues such as business and tourism, infrastructure and public transport, communications, environment and climate, public health, integration, comprehensive planning and housing provision, crime prevention, emergency preparedness and civil defense, and digitalization. Your workplace is at the municipal office in Henån. Your responsibilities As a Business Development Strategist, you are one of the municipality's most important links to the business community. You work both strategically and operationally to strengthen the business climate, facilitate new business establishments, and create conditions for sustainable growth. You meet with entrepreneurs in their everyday work, drive development initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders locally, regionally, and nationally. With us you will: - Build long-term relationships with companies, business organizations, and business development actors. - Conduct company visits and themed meetings to identify companies' needs, opportunities, and development ideas. - Lead projects that strengthen the municipality's attractiveness and competitiveness. - Work with establishment and development issues. - Coordinate internal processes to create a service-oriented municipality. - Monitor the external environment and identify future opportunities for the business community. - Contribute to development in areas such as skills supply, innovation, sustainability, and place development. About you We're looking for someone who loves making things happen! You are curious, proactive, and have a natural ability to build trust. You enjoy dialogue with business leaders as much as collaboration with colleagues and decision-makers. You build relationships and have a genuine interest in entrepreneurship and community development. You can switch between strategic thinking and practical implementation. You have good ability to use digital tools for communication, collaboration, and operations development. You have: - Relevant academic education or at least 3 years of equivalent experience. - Experience with business, economic development, or community development. - Ability to lead projects and achieve results through collaboration. - Good understanding of business conditions and drivers. - Excellent ability to communicate and build networks. - Strong Swedish communication skills, both spoken and written. - Experience creating, developing, and managing social media channels.
