JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In Ronneby Municipality, all board secretaries are centralized in one main secretariat. You will work primarily with one board or a couple of boards. You should be able to substitute for the secretary in other boards when needed, and there may be changes in which board(s) is/are your primary responsibility.
As a board secretary, you are responsible for the board's case management. This includes tasks such as registration, compilation and distribution of meeting notices, protocol writing, expediting of decisions, archiving, etc. The assignment also includes monitoring that cases come up for decision and quality-checking the decision materials for the board. You work closely with the municipality's officials and politicians, with particular focus on assisting the board chair. The work also includes responsibility for handling notices and protocol writing in committees and one of the municipality's councils.
The municipality uses the document and case management system Ciceron with a focus on completely digital case management. As a board secretary, you will be part of developing the boards' case management, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should have appropriate higher education for the position in, for example, public administration, political science, social sciences, law, or other education that we consider equivalent. Previous experience as a board secretary is meritorious. You have knowledge of municipal and administrative law matters as well as public access and confidentiality regulations. Since the work involves handling and producing formal texts, it is of utmost importance that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself quickly and precisely in writing.
It is important that you can organize and prioritize work efficiently and meet deadlines.
We expect you as a person to be structured, quality-conscious, and able to handle stressful situations well. You have a sense of service, are self-driven but also work well with others.
