Johan Skytteskolan is a municipal primary school grades F-9 and is located in Södra Älvsjö. In this position, you will teach music in half-classes at the intermediate level.
The primary and intermediate levels are located in a newly built school building with good transportation connections.

Your Role
We are looking for a teacher who will teach music in grades 4-6.
You will be part of a teaching team and subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and deeper knowledge.
As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, instruction, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.
At Johan Skytteskolan, music instruction takes place in half-classes.
The position is 80% distributed over five days per week. The position is a temporary contract for the fall semester.
Your Competence and Experience
We are looking for someone who has high expectations for student achievement, good pedagogical insight, and is clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You:
are a certified teacher with qualifications in music
have experience with digital working methods as an enhancement to instruction.
You have a good ability to design instruction in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into student results and needs, and structure and adapt your instruction to create a safe and adequate learning environment. You involve students in planning and develop their ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
You are confident, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration, and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks that are part of your role in an efficient manner.
