The Children and Education Department works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The department is responsible for preschool operations, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important mission is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. All our employees play an important role in this. 1 position(s). Balingsnässkolan is a two-parallel F-9 school with Adapted Primary School for grades 7-9. Approximately 600 students attend the school, and the staff consists of approximately 80 employees. Balingsnässkolan is a modern and fine building located in a scenic single-family home and villa area in central Huddinge. The school has a large sports hall, practical-aesthetic rooms, and its own kitchen facility. Students at Balingsnässkolan have access to iPads in preschool class, Chromebooks 1:1 in grades 1-9, and all classrooms are equipped with Smartboards. We are organized in grade-level work teams, called hemvister, where the teachers in the work team jointly manage and work with all students in that grade. We have two "Studios" at the school, which are support services where students who need extensive support can receive instruction in a smaller setting for part or all of the school day. Duties You will work as a music teacher in grades 4-9 and in AGR (Upper Secondary). The position is 100% on a permanent basis. Music instruction is conducted in groups of 20 or half-class (grades 3 and 6). The work also involves arranging school celebrations, Lucia processions, and Nobel Fest. You will not have mentorship duties in the first year. Your Profile You are a certified music teacher for grades 4-9. You are well familiar with LGR 22 and have strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish. Experience with grading is valued. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, find it easy to build good relationships and cooperate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student support team, and school leadership. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader and you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. With good didactic ability, strong subject knowledge, clear structure, and varied instruction adapted to each individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the learning requirements in LGR22. You view documentation and assessment of students' learning development as a natural part of your work. You have good analytical and reflective ability and continuously develop your instruction.
