The Culture and Leisure Department consists of; the culture and leisure office, associations and youth, Billingen leisure area, Billingehov/Lillegården, the area development unit, the Music School and City Museum, libraries with branches, the events unit, and the Art Unit. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES The position includes teaching groups in musical theater. Teaching should be conducted in such a way that it, in addition to giving students the opportunity to develop their skills, strengthens their self-confidence and their ability to interact with both peers and adults in a joyful and respectful manner. The Cultural School's staff should strive to be both musical and personal role models for students, but should take great consideration of each student's own experience and varying wishes. With the goal that students should enjoy their cultural expression throughout their lives, the Cultural School strives for a broad range of different genres, different cultural expressions, and different teaching methods. The position includes teaching in musical theater and funk musical. You work both with your own groups and with groups together with another pedagogue at the cultural school. Students range from age 6 through high school age. The position also includes working with the cultural ladder where the cultural school meets students in primary school. The majority of teaching takes place in the afternoon and evening at the Cultural School. Some teaching may take place during daytime hours. This position is a temporary assignment for the period January 7, 2027 through June 16, 2027! QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A pedagogical education in one of the subjects singing, dance, and/or drama • Experience teaching groups of different ages • Experience with musical productions at different levels • Good digital skills • Understanding of children's different needs and strong pedagogical competence It is advantageous if you have experience working with children and youth with functional variations. The position requires a B driver's license Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: According to agreement.
