As an MT Security Strategist, you will become a key person in driving, coordinating, and monitoring the region's medical technology safety efforts. You will work closely with technology, operations, legal, and procurement teams to ensure that our medical technology systems always meet applicable requirements, standards, and regulations. We are looking for We are seeking someone with relevant higher education or university training, for example as a medical technology engineer, lawyer, or equivalent, or alternatively other training and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience working with quality assurance, risk management, or management systems. You have experience working systematically with quality and safety issues and are accustomed to collaborating with different functions within an organization. You have good communication and collaboration skills with various departments and professional groups. The position is classified in a security class, which means that Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance are requirements. It is meriting if you have knowledge of cybersecurity related to medical technology products and network-connected medical technology, as well as knowledge of EU medical technology regulations (MDR 2017/745). Experience with relevant standards, such as ISO 14971, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485, is also meriting. It is also viewed positively if you have experience working with NIS2, CER, or regional security protection work, as well as experience working in larger organizations or in the public sector. Experience with supervision or regulatory work, for example related to the Medical Products Agency, as well as driving training initiatives and change management work, is also meriting. What you will work with In this role, you will drive, develop, and monitor the region's strategic work within medical technology safety. You are responsible for ensuring that processes and management systems within medical technology are current and compliant with applicable legislation and regulations. You will serve as an expert in procurements, risk analyses, and certain deviation investigations, and contribute your expertise in complex issues related to medical technology safety aspects. An important part of the assignment is also to educate and support operations on medical technology safety matters and contribute to increased knowledge and compliance in the organization. The role involves participating in national networks within medical technology safety and serving as a contact person with authorities on relevant matters. You also actively contribute to the region's work with quality assurance and risk management and to continuous development of methods and procedures within the field. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is classified in a security class, which means that security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658).
