About the Company
Beyond Gravity is a leading space technology company with operations in multiple countries and an important role in the global space industry. The company develops and manufactures advanced products and subsystems for space missions where quality, precision, and accuracy are critical.
We are now seeking two operators for the Automatic Assembly (SMT) team, which is responsible for producing surface-mounted circuit boards for Beyond Gravity's own production as well as for external customers in both the space and industrial sectors. Your Responsibilities
As a surface mount assembly operator, you will be part of a skilled and dedicated team responsible for the entire production flow, from material preparation to finished and inspected circuit boards. The work is varied and requires a high degree of precision, quality mindset, and technical expertise.
Examples of your tasks:
Work at the surface mount assembly line (SMT), including machine operation and circuit board production.
Preparation of materials and components for production, as well as handling of traceability and documentation requirements.
Quality inspections, visual inspection, and testing of circuit boards, including AOI and X-ray inspection.
Hand soldering, repair, and improvement of surface-mounted components.
Handling of deviations and support in quality and problem-solving work.
Active participation in LEAN work with focus on 5S, continuous improvements, and efficient production flows.
Work with advanced processing and microscopic assembly of electronic components.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with genuine technical interest and experience from electronics production or similar manufacturing environment. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner in an operation where high demands are placed on precision and accuracy in daily operations. We prefer candidates with previous experience in electronics assembly and soldering, preferably from production processes and manufacturing industry with a focus on LEAN.
As a person, you are meticulous, solution-oriented, structured, and communicative in your daily work. You also enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to an open, professional, and developing work environment.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Technical secondary education or equivalent experience.
Experience working in surface mount assembly or automatic electronics production.
Familiarity with microscopic assembly work.
Experience reading and working from technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of soldering and electronic components.
It is a merit if you:
Have experience from other SMT environments or electronics production.
Have worked in SAP or similar business systems.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security regulations. For positions where Beyond Gravity has security clearance requirements, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
