About the Position Do you want a key role in technical projects where safety, quality, and good leadership are at the center? As an assembly supervisor at Saltängen, you will have the opportunity to lead work at customer facilities, create structure in the execution, and contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable projects. The role suits you if you thrive with responsibility, collaboration, and being the connecting link between the client, project organization, and the team on site. As an assembly supervisor, you are responsible for leading Saltängen's personnel and our hired subcontractors on the customer's facilities. You have workplace safety responsibility for our personnel and ensure that both Saltängen's and the customer's safety rules and guidelines are followed by everyone on site. You will also conduct risk analyses before and during the work, as well as participate in additional "Safety Walks" to ensure a safe working environment. For each assignment, you collaborate with the inspection coordinator, project manager, and resource planner to plan and prepare the project start. During the work, you are responsible for some project documentation, including establishing project documentation, ensuring that timesheets are correctly filled out, signed, and sent to the responsible function, and informing and reporting to the project manager about any changes, waiting times, deviations, and when the work is completed. As an assembly supervisor, you are Saltängen's representative to customers, facility owners, and other contractors. You are expected to actively contribute to developing and improving the business and you uphold Saltängen's values of commitment, thoroughness, and openness. We are Looking For To succeed in this role, we would like you to have expertise in mechanical engineering or similar, as well as experience in leadership. You should have good IT skills (Microsoft 365/Office) and be able to communicate in English and/or Swedish verbally and in writing. A Class B driver's license is a requirement, as is a certification for Hot Work. Since the position involves work in other locations, it is required that you are flexible with travel within Sweden. Desirable qualifications for the role include industry-specific certifications for forklifts, cranes, mobile elevated work platforms, and fall protection.
