What you'll do As an Assembly and Calibration Technician, you'll work with several parts of the operation and have a varied day-to-day. A large part of the role involves assembling and production testing Cgrain's analysis instruments as well as calibrating the instruments according to customer-specific requirements when ordered. You'll also handle incoming deliveries of production materials and outgoing deliveries of finished instruments to customers. The role also includes some customer contact. You'll be able, after training, to participate in installations at customer sites and introduce users to the instruments. You'll also provide support through our customer service system and help customers with simpler technical questions and service matters. Since this is a new role, there are no set instructions for all work tasks. Therefore, we're looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, solving problems, and developing work methods and processes together with the team and your manager. You'll receive thorough onboarding and ongoing support, while gradually taking on greater responsibility. The role is based at Cgrain in Uppsala. What you need to succeed and thrive You have: A genuine technical interest and practical skills, either from work, education, or hobbies. Experience working with multiple different tasks in parallel and the ability to switch between different types of tasks. Good computer skills and confidence working in digital systems. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. B-class driving license Workshop experience or production experience is a merit. You are: Reliable and work carefully with a focus on quality, safety, and delivery according to agreed timelines. Independent and take responsibility for your tasks while knowing when it's appropriate to ask for support. Analytical and solution-oriented with the ability to understand the causes of problems and find practical solutions. Initiative-taking and comfortable in an environment where everyone contributes to developing the business and improving work methods.
