JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work at various locations throughout the municipality where you collaborate with colleagues. Daily cleaning of floors, walls, and furnishings using the city's cleaning method with pre-treated mops in municipal buildings (offices, preschools, schools, gymnasiums, etc.).
You choose which days and times you want to be available for work. Through the Time Care Pool booking tool, you will be booked for work via SMS. As a part-time employee with us, you can work varying shift lengths per day and different hours per week. The extent depends on the operations' needs and regular staff absences. To ensure continuity in our operations, we expect that you can work at least three days per week.
As a custodian, you are responsible for ensuring that our clients receive cleaning performed according to cleaning instructions. You work both independently and in groups. Upon hiring, you will receive an overview of the custodial role and participate in shadowing and orientation.
QUALIFICATIONS
To work as a part-time custodian with us, you need:
• A valid police clearance certificate for "work in schools or preschools"
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic digital skills
• Be at least 18 years old
It is advantageous if you have custodial training or experience in cleaning public environments. It is important that you work efficiently under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You distinguish between issues and people and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure. You also take initiative and responsibility to move work forward, whether working alone or with others.
You must have good ability to receive cleaning instructions in writing and verbally in Swedish. Therefore, as a temporary employee, you must be proficient in Swedish both spoken and written. You should have the ability to prioritize and adapt your work methods to the operations' needs.
