The Role Modine is seeking an engaged and development-driven Head of Production Engineering and Lean Coach who wants to help shape the production of the future. As Head of Production Engineering, you are responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of our production processes and ensuring that the business has the right conditions to achieve its goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You lead the work of identifying improvement areas, implementing modern solutions, and driving change initiatives that create long-term value for the business. In the role, you also function as the company's Lean Coach, where you inspire, train, and coach the organization in Lean methodology and structured improvement work. Through a data-driven approach and focus on facts and analysis, you create conditions for well-founded decisions and sustainable results. You have personnel responsibility for five employees in the process department and actively work to develop both the team and the individual. Through present and coaching leadership, you create engagement, responsibility, and a culture where development and improvement are a natural part of everyday life. The role also includes responsibility for monitoring goals and KPIs, participation in audits, and identifying investment needs and driving CAPEX projects from idea to implementation. You are part of the Operations management group and have budget responsibility, which gives you great opportunities to influence the business's future development and strategic direction. Location: Söderköping Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with experience driving development and change in manufacturing industry. You have likely worked in a leadership role where you combined technology, business development, and leadership to create results and improvements. You have been part of a change journey where modern production methods, Lean, digitalization, or new practices have been implemented and become a natural part of the business. Perhaps you have led the development yourself, or been a key person in the work of improving efficiency, raising technical standards, and creating a strong improvement culture. We believe you have: • Higher education in a relevant area or equivalent experience • Experience in leadership with personnel responsibility • Experience from manufacturing industry and production development • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and change management • Experience driving improvement and development projects • Ability to work strategically while converting ideas into practical results • Experience with budget responsibility and working with KPIs As a person, you are curious, driven, and development-oriented.
